Gagan Narang, Chain Singh cap off miserable showing for shooters at Rio 2016 Olympics

Chain Singh scored a total of 391 in the Kneeling Stage and 398 in Prone stage.

India’s dismal show in shooting at Rio 2016 Olympics continued as Chain Singh and Gagan Narang were failed to qualify for 50m Rifle 3 positions. Chain Singh showed a bit of hope when the Indian marched into top six but was soon dropped down. Chain Singh score a total of 380 in the Standing round and was placed 24 eventually with 1169 points. Gagan Narang scored 384 in Standing stage and he was finally placed at 33 rank with a total of 1162 points.

Chain Singh scored a total of 391 in the Kneeling Stage and 398 in Prone stage. While Chain Singh gave some instances of a decent show, other Indian shooter Gagan Narang wasn’t able to cope up with the initial pressure. He scored 383 in Kneeling and 395 in Prone. More shocking was Narang’s show as the Indian shooter never really climbed the ladder. The show has ended for the Indian shooters in the Rio 2016 Olympics.
