Kejriwal had said that both the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) offer money to voters during elections.
"Action would be initiated against the candidate if he is found to be using the religious platform for campaigning," Goa Joint Chief Electoral Officer Narayan Navti told reporters.
The alliance, which is contesting in all 35 out of the 40 seats in the Goa Assembly has announced Sudin as their chief ministerial face.
The Commission has also decided to have 'live' streaming from all the polling stations spread across 40 constituencies so that the actual happenings at these points would be known to the officers.
Voting in Goa will take place on February 4.
Earlier on Monday, the Congress demanded an apology from the AAP leader over his statement and demanded suo motu action against him by the EC.
"I appeal to the Election Commission to take suo moto action, failing which I will study the legal implications and would not hesitate to file a formal complaint," the Congress spokesperson added.
The GSM has already announced its pre-poll alliance with MGP, Sena and the lesser known Goa Praja Party to contest on 35 seats across the state during the upcoming state polls.
