Canadian PM Justin Trudeau was addressing a press conference at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Ontario on Friday when he impressed all those present with his understanding of quantum computing.

A journalist asked him a sarcastic question about the subject, implying that Trudeau would be unable to answer it.

However, Trudeau smartly took up the challenge and provided a simple explanation of quantum computing, distinguishing it from normal computing.

After receiving applause and a standing ovation from the audience, Trudeau added, “Don’t get me going on this or we’ll be here all day. Trust me.”

Trudeau has been in the news for all the right reasons since he led the Liberal Party to a win in 2015. Trudeau has identified himself as a feminist and also made it a part of his party’s ideology.

He made history by selecting a cabinet that is balanced equally between women and men. His cabinet has also been acclaimed for being inclusive, as he appointed two aboriginal and three Sikh politicians.

As promised in his election campaign, Trudeau is scheduled to make an apology in Parliament in the matter of the Komagata Maru incident of 1914, in which migrant Sikhs were denied entry into Canada. His government is also working to legalise a form of assisted suicide and has proposed a bill on the same.
