Watch: This video of an iguana heroically fighting off a den of snakes has hooked the Internet

Forget Fast and Furious sequences, this chase will blow your mind.

If you thought all thrilling and nail-biting chase sequences are restricted to Hollywood and Bollywood, you have another think coming. Documentaries from National Geographic and BBC Earth are the new thrillers that have been entertaining the world. Certainly there is lot of drama in the animal kingdom, no wonder our daily soap writers have taken a fancy to bees and snakes!

Just as we were trying to digest the home-wrecker penguin video, BBC gave us something so riveting that here is no chance you’ll look away from the screen! Yes, a recent clip doing the rounds online is an intense chase sequence between a baby iguana and a den of snakes. The 2-minute 20-second video has pumped up blood and it surely topped any chase sequence from fiction world. Fast and Furious or Dhoom, nothing comes close to this.

The powerful video shows “a racer snake gauntlet stands between hatchling iguanas and the safety of the sea!” The GIF released by BBC earth was enough to give people the chills, but later the chase sequence was posted on Twitter by multiple users and people just cannot have enough of it.

The video is part of the BBC’s sequel to its legendary documentary series narrated by Sir David Attenborough, the Planet Earth. The premier episode of the sequel show came back with a bang and certainly was worth a wait of 10 years.

The scene has tension, action and suspense altogether, and there’s a good chance your pulse rate will shoot up by the end of it.

Shot in Galapagos Island, where the marine iguanas are restricted, Planet Earth II certainly reminded by we all are such hatchling iguana being chased by responsibilities and work in life! Sigh!
