How many times has a girl been nudged inappropriately while using public transport? How often does one get to hear lewd comments addressed to a woman while travelling in a bus, on the road or in shared vehicles? It's not anything new for women to be experiencing something like this but to put an end to this, it's important if the culprit is publicly shamed. That is what this video suggests, and going by the number of likes and shares, many seem to agree. Actor Varun Pruthi, known for his social experiments on tape, has released a new video that has gone viral with over six million views. The story enacted is said to be based on a true story, wherein a girl's personal space while travelling on an e-rikshaw is being constantly invaded by a man sitting next to her. She ignores his behaviour for a while, but eventually decides to lash out at the man when he doesn't stop. "The day we start talking, you won't be able to show your face," says the girl. The video is yet another addition to the ever-increasing creative voices that have been emerging fighting for the cause of women safety.
