On September 25, PM Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Mann Ki Baat and touched upon a range topics. He started with his response to the terrorist attack on army base in Uri, in which 19 of Indian soldiers lost their lives. He said, those behind the attacks will not be spared. “I pay my tribute to soldiers who lost their lives in Uri terror attack. The culprits will be punished for sure,” he said.
He also talked about an Class XI student who, after the attacks, resolved to study 3 hours extra so he can contribute to the nation. The boy wrote a letter to Modi in which he wrote the attacks disturbed him a lot and he wanted to do something about it, but he didn’t know what. “What can a student like me do?” Modi quoted him. “That’s when I pledged to study 3 more hours every day so I can become a responsible citizen of the country and cab be put to use”. The PM praised him for his thoughts amid today’s charged environment.
But wherever Harshvardhan is and especially if he’s on Twitter, he might be reconsidering writing that letter to the PM because he’s dominating the micro-blogging site right now. Jokes and memes on his just won’t stop!
“Harshvardhan’s father is praying for few more terror attack, so that he could see his son in the toppers list of UPSC,” tweeted a user. “According to a recent study, India will have to lose Kargil, if Harshvardhan has to clear IITJEE,” wrote another.
