In a shocking incident, the husband of an IAS officer in Pune beat a 19-year-old girl and her mother because they were feeding three puppies outside their locality in Kothrud on September 25. The accused Milind Kale, husband of Ann Kapthuame Kale, reportedly had a problem with puppies’ littering the area.

Animal rights activist Neepa Rai posted the incident on Facebook, a post that has gone viral with nearly 2,000 shares. “So yesterday, one of our volunteers (and her mother) got assaulted by this man because she was feeding 3 pups (who lost their mother) outside the society. This B*****d’s wife, who is a commissioner of the income tax department (Ann Kapthuama Kale) has the audacity to tell the victim (19 years old) and her mother that her husband was right, and if she was there she would have hit them more,” wrote Rai.

In the video, the man can be seen brutally beating the girl who reportedly lost a tooth because of it and her mother. Unfortunately, people from the society present at the moment didn’t seem to effectively help the two while the man was hitting them. It was when he tried to do it again when a few people intervened and tried to stop him.

Reportedly, an FIR was filed against him but he was at large. Rai, however, posted on Facebook that he was caught yesterday (DATE) and was produced in the court facing criminal charges.
