Evernote has announced today that it has reached five million users in India. Evernote had 1 million India users at the end of February 2013.
“The rate at which Evernote has grown in the last few years is a strong testament to Evernote’s fit with the Indian market. We are certain that the Indian market will continue to experience massive growth in the coming years and we look forward to listening to our Indian users for novel product ideas and inspirational use cases,” said Troy Malone, General Manager APAC, Evernote.
Evernote started in 2008 with an ambition to redefine productivity within the workspace that syncs between all your devices. The cross-platform note-taking app initially started with ability to take notes and create checklists. Now the app has added features like work chat, ability to convert business cards into contacts and track expenses.
