

Samsung has officially launched its Galaxy On8 smartphone on Flipkart. Samsung has been teasing the device on ecommerce portal for sometime now.
Samsung Galaxy On8 will be available starting from the big billion day sales celebrations. Flipkart’s big billion day celebrations start from October 2 at 23:59 hours. Samsung Galaxy On8 features a design very similar to the one seen on 2016 J series.
Samsung Galaxy On8 features a 5.5-inch Full HD super AMOLED display for wide viewing angles and superior contrast. The smartphone is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor coupled with 3B RAM and 16GB storage. Samsung Galaxy On8 also supports expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
Samsung Galaxy On8 is just 7.8mm thick and weighs 169 grams. The smartphone supports 4G LTE and should support Reliance Jio’s 4G data network. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with TouchWiz UI on top of it.

Samsung Galaxy On8 also features a 13MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. There is a 5MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash for those low-light selfies. The camera software supports modes like wide selfie and beauty face feature.
Samsung had recently launched Galaxy A9 Pro, Galaxy J5 Prime and J7 Prime in India. With On8, Samsung is basically extending its online-only offerings.
Samsung Galaxy On8 features dual SIM slot and a separate slot for microSD card. The smartphone is priced at Rs 15,900 and will be available in Gold, Black and White colour options.
