Panasonic launches P88 with Front LED Flash: Key specifications, price

Panasonic has launched a new P88 smartphone, which has an LED flash on the front camera.

Panasonic has launched a new P88 smartphone with a focus on the front selfie-camera; this one comes with an LED flash on the front and is priced at Rs 9,290. The smartphone will be available across stores in India.

In terms of specifications, the P88 has a 5.3-inch IPS display with HD resolution (720p) and a 2.5D curved Asahi glass on the front to protect it from scratches. The phone weighs 156gms and is 8.3 mm in thickness and sports a metal finish body with metal finish middle frame.

The processor is a quad-core one (Panasonic has not specified which model) and clocked at 1.2Ghz, and it comes with 2GB RAM+16GB storage, which can be expanded to 128GB microSD card. The rear camera is 13MP with triple LED flash and the front camera is 5MP with front LED flash as well.

This is a 4G-enabled smartphone, which runs Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS. It also support Android for Work feature that allows the user to separate business apps from personal ones. The Panasonic P88 has 2500mAh battery and is available in two colours – Gold and Charcoal Grey. This is a dual-SIM smartphone with 4G VoLTE support.

“With the year drawing to a close, the P88 is an affordable 4G smartphone offering for the Indian market. In a first for Panasonic smartphones, the phone comes with a front LED flash for the selfie lovers The phone also comes with an anti-dust receiver to help maintain the phone for longer periods of time. We continue our endeavor to offer differentiated product offerings to our customers”, said Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India in a press statement.
