Oppo has announced its latest smartphone – A57 – in China. The smartphone packs a 16MP front camera and will go on sale in China starting December 15. Oppo A57 features a design language similar to company’s F1 series smartphones and costs 1,599 yuan (Rs 15,800 approx). It is available in Rose Gold and Gold colour variants. Oppo A57 sports a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 pixel) LCD display with 2.5D curved glass design. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Oppo’s Color 3.0 OS.
Oppo A57 is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor with a Adreno 505 GPU for graphics performance. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card). There’s 16MP front camera with with f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera is 13MP, which comes with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF and flash. The home button in dual-SIM A57 doubles up as fingerprint scanner.
Oppo A57 supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, GPRS/EDGE, USB, and 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone is backed by a 2,900 mAh battery. The dimensions of the A57 are 149.1 x 72.9 x 7.65 mm. It weighs 147 grams.
Oppo has launched an upgraded variant of its F1s smartphone in India.The new variant comes with 4GB RAM, as opposed to 3GB in the earlier model. Oppo has bumped up the internal storage as well which now stands at 64GB. Oppo F1s now comes in grey colour variant as well and triple-slot card tray that supports two nano 4G SIM cards and a microSD card. The smartphone is priced at Rs 18,990. There’s no word on when Oppo A57 will be launched in India.
