Moto G4, which is the fourth generation device in Moto’s highly successful mid-range series, is expected to come with new features like NFC, a fingerprint scanner and better battery life.
A Twitter leak hints that Moto G4 will launch in two variants with both the regular G4, and Turbo edition launching at the same time. In 2015, Moto G Turbo was launched later in India.
A new component list revealed by Twitter user Roland Quandt also claims there is NFC support in the new phone.
Moto India’s Twitter account has hinted that Moto G4 will come with a bigger battery and improved camera capability. The earlier Moto G3 came with a 13mp rear camera and a 5mp front camera. It remains to be seen whether Moto will bump up the resolution in both G4 and G4 Turbo version, or if only one version will get an upgrade.
Moto G4 could also be the first smartphone to feature ‘Moto by Lenovo’ branding, but we are yet to get official confirmation.
