Lenovo has announced its latest budget smartphone, Vibe K5 will go on open sale starting from July 4. The company says it has sold over 1 lakh units of Vibe K5 in the first two flash sale.
Lenovo claims it sold 48,500 units of Vibe K5 in its second flash sale with over 5 lakh registrations. Lenovo Vibe K5 is a slightly underpowered version of Vibe K5 Plus.
Lenovo says it had anticipated the demand and has ramped up production for the open sale. Lenovo Vibe K5 was first announced at Mobile World Congress in February 2016.
Lenovo Vibe K5 features a 5-inch 720p display and is powered by Snapdragon 415 processor coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. The smartphone comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.
Lenovo Vibe K5 is a dual-SIM smartphone with support for 4G LTE networks. The budget device is 8 mm thick amd weighs around 142 grams.
On the camera front, Lenovo Vibe K5 comes with a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary camera. The smartphone is backed by a 2750mAh battery.
