Lenovo K6 Power with 4000 mAh battery to launch in India on November 29

Lenovo is set to launch its new K6 Power smartphone in India on November 29. The company has sent out media invites for the launch invite that reads, “Witness the kickass launch of Lenovo K6 Power.” Lenovo unveiled its K6 series at IFA 2016 in Berlin back in September, which includes the K6, K6 Note and the K6 Power. The K6 Power is expected to feature the Vibe branding when it comes to India.

Lenovo K6 Power is a mid-budget device that comes with a 5-inch Full HD IPS display (1920 x 1080 pixels resolution). The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC coupled with an Adreno 505 GPU. It features 2GB/3GB RAM along with 16GB/32GB of storage respectively (expandable to 256GB via microSD).

Lenovo K6 Power is a dual-SIM smartphone and supports 4G LTE. It gets a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and phase detection autofocus. The front camera is 8MP. The device is backed by a 4,000 mAh non-removable battery. Sensors on the device include fingerprint, gyro, proximity, compass and accelerometer. It will be available silver, gold and dark grey colour variants.

Lenovo’s K6 series is a successor to its K5 budget series in India. Lenovo last the Vibe K5 Note in its K5 series. The smartphone has a starting price of Rs 11,499. The K5 Note supports the ANT VR headset along with TheaterMax technology seen in the K4 Note. It comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display and runs the an octa-core MediaTek 6755 processor clocked at 1.8 Ghz.
