Google’s next rumoured Nexus devices – Sailfish and Marlin – are expected to launch in September-October time frame. But rumours surrounding the two smartphones have already started doing rounds. Just a few days ago, Sailfish was allegedly benchmarked on Antutu and GeekBench. Now, Android Police has put out links for notification sounds and ringtones for the Nexus devices. According to the report, Sailfish and Marlin will come with ten ringtones and eight notification sounds. The ringtones are named ‘Rrring’, ‘Hey hey’, ‘Romance’ and more. Coming to notifications, there’s ‘Hey’, ‘Trill’, ‘Note’, ‘Chime’ etc. The zipped files for these notifications and ringtones are already available online.

According to benchmark tests, Sailfish might come with 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM. Leaks suggest the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 chipset. HTC is reportedly working on another Nexus project code named Starfish. The Nexus devices will run Android 7.0 Nougat. GFXBenchmark’s report showed that the Sailfish will feature an 11MP rear camera. The primary camera will support 4K video recording. The front camera is said to be 7MP. Antutu image leak, however, has a different story to tell when it comes to camera specifications. According to Antutu, Sailfish will feature a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter.

Marlin is the flagship of the two Nexus devices. It is said to be larger and more powerful than the Sailfish. Reports suggest Marlin will feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display and will be powered by next variant of Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. It could have a similar design language as HTC 10. The smartphone could come with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. The battery on this one is likely to be same as Nexus 6P which was 3,450mAh. There’s also a rear fingerprint scanner with Nexus imprint support. The device will support Bluetooth 4.2 and USB-C port for charging.
