Design: Our vote goes to the Yureka Yu in this one, although the Honor 4X isn’t too far behind. But the Yu’s rubberised matte back makes the phablet easier to grip than the other two (and looks a bit classier too).
Screen: Both the Redmi Note and the Yureka Yu are on par here. The Honor 4X does not have Gorilla Glass, which is a big negative.
Performance: The Yureka Yu is again the winner here, especially when it comes to multi-tasking between resource-intensive apps. The Redmi Note and Honor 4X are on par.
Camera: The Honor 4X pips its competitors here, especially with its low-light performance and the double-click shortcut for quick photos. You can read more about that in our full review.
Connectivity: The Honor 4X has the best voice quality of the three and rarely drops calls, even in areas where the other two lost connectivity.
Battery: Even with similar specs, the Redmi Note 4G lasts noticeably longer than the others, whether in direct video comparison tests or regular daily usage. That said, all three phones have excellent battery life, so don’t let that be the differentiator.
Software: We’re torn between the Yureka Yu and the Redmi Note 4G here. The Yu comes with CyanogenMod 11, which is a better choice for power users. The Redmi Note has Xiaomi’s MIUI, which is better for those new to Android. Either way, the Honor 4X is the loser.
Verdict: The Honor 4X should be your choice if camera matters above everything else. The Yureka Yu is the best choice for someone who is already using Android, while the Redmi Note is ideal for first-time Android users.
