Skullcandy Barricade speakers reportedly features ‘powerful loudness-to-size ratio’ that doesn’t sacrifice audio quality.
Skullcandy announced the launch of ‘Barricade’, a new family of Bluetooth speakers under the wireless category. Barricade speakers come in three sizes: Barricade Mini, Barricade and Barricade XL.
Skullcandy Barricade speakers reportedly features ‘powerful loudness-to-size ratio’ that doesn’t sacrifice audio quality. The stainless steel design is “stylish enough for any room in the home and durable enough for outdoor adventure,” the company said.
Positioned in the middle of the product family line, the Barricade speaker features IPX7 waterproof rating, battery life of up to 8 hours, external device charging, built in microphone, AUX functionality and a ‘float-able’ design.
Barricade comes with a price tag of Rs 5,999. The Barricade XL is priced at Rs 11,000, includes all the features of Barricade plus a reported battery life of up to 10 hours and multi-speaker pairing.

Barricade Mini is the smallest and lightest in the Barricade family, priced at Rs 3,499. Features of the Barricade Mini include Bluetooth connectivity, up to 6 hour battery life, durable attachment loop and buoyant water and impact resistant construction.

While the Barricade and Barricade Mini are available online and at select retailers nationwide, the Barricade XL will be available this holiday season , the company said.
