Logitech recently launched its X300 mobile wireless speaker along with the X100 model

Weighing at 360 grams with dimensions of 2.7×5.9×2.8 inches (HWD) this wireless speaker is mighty impressive.

It has a rubberised body to give it better grip on most surfaces and the three buttons on top (Volume rocker and Bluetooth) are well placed and easy to operate.

The Power button is hidden away at the rear end and may not even appear like a button until you actually press it. An LED indicator tells you when pairing is complete with a short blue blink and a quicker red one means ‘you’ve gotta charge me.’

A micro USB port for charging the device is located just across the power button on the rear along with a standard 3.5 mm port.

Now the main bit, performance- I played everything from Two Steps to Hell’s Nero Album, Kunnakudi Vaidhyanathan’s violin pieces to Chill trap mixes. The output was amazing. The speaker’s design allows it to hold the sharp treble sounds and also deliver the flat bass sounds, it didn’t crack or distort at any point.

The sound is more than enough for a large sized room or even a mini hall.

The battery life- of this device is quite impressive and offers 5 hours of non-stop playback once fully charged. It also has a 30 ft wireless range and a built in speaker incase you want to attend calls.

Verdict: All in all this device is a great buy for Rs 5,995 with the only flaw being the not so visible location of its battery indicator.
