Vijender Singh takes just three rounds to knockout Francis Cheka and retain his WBO Asia Pacific title with ease in New Delhi on Saturday. Vijender was off to a watchful start against the experienced opponent but switched to offensive mode in the second round where he landed some heavy blows. The Indian boxer was alert in defence and made sure to land his punches when they mattered. The crowd was on their feet when Vijender threw a heavy punch and followed it up with a little act of his own. The third round was completely dominated by Vijender and the fight was stopped as the referee declared it a KNOCKOUT! The win extends Vijender’s unbeaten pro streak to 8.
