Pakistan completed a series sweep over T20 world champions West Indies after winning the third and final T20 international by eight wickets in Abu Dhabi. This was the first time Pakistan has completed a whitewash in the shortest format of the game. Pakistan were set a target of 104 runs by West Indies which they chased down inside 15 overs. Ealier, Imad Wasim once again trapped the West Indies batsmen in his spin and took three wickets which helped Pakistan restrict the West Indies to 103-5. He finished with 3-21. At one stage, Windies were 31/4 before a 72-run stand for fifth wicket helped them cross the 100-run mark. Marlon Samuels top scored with 42 runs and remained unbeaten on 42. He added 37 runs with Kieron Pollard for the sixth wicket. In the first two T20 internationals, Pakistan had beaten West Indies by nine wickets and 16 runs respectively, both in Dubai.
