KKR vs DD: Kolkata Knight Riders beat Delhi Daredevils by 9 wickets

Kolkata Knight Riders chase down Delhi Daredevils 99-run target to beat them by 9 wickets at Eden Gardens.

Kolkata Knight Riders easily chased down Delhi Daredevils target of 99 in just 14.1 overs with 9 wickets remaining. KKR bowlers rattled DD batsmen and bundled out them for 98. Gambhir and Uthappa made 38* and 35 respectively to set the chase for KKR.

Kolkata Knight Riders had stumbled badly at the final hurdle to miss the playoffs last term. They had to win one of their last two group games but lost both. The two-time champions had been poor on the road last year, losing five matches and winning two, while another didn’t yield any result.
