Children love icecream but it’s tough to get them to take their vegetables, unless you combine the two in one great recipe. This delightful scoop packs a punch with cheese, veggies and cornflakes, taking care of hunger pangs without resorting to junk food. We’re sure you’re want to give this one a go too! It’s also the perfect treat to serve up during a birthday party or if there are a bunch of hungry kids in the house. Go ahead, make this colourful mashed potato in an icecream cone, with a healthy dose of veggies, courtesy Chef Sharad Dewan, Regional Director- Food Production at The Park Kolkata. Potatoes (peeled, boiled and mashed): 200 gm
Amul Cream 50 ml
Butter 50 gm
Salt and pepper to taste
Parmesan cheese 100 gm
Chopped Parsley 50 gm
Cornflakes 50 gm, crushed
Mix Vegetables (chopped) 50 gm
BBQ sauce 50 ml
Ice cream cones: 4
Heat the butter, add potatoes, cream, and salt and pepper. Add parmesan cheese to finish, Fill in the cones with the mash potatoes, and top it with various toppings, to make it colourful.
