Gujarat BJP chief Ranchhod Faldu on Sunday said his party believed in democracy and that nobody in the party was asked to shut their mouth, though he parried questions on the recent exit of Sanjay Joshi.

“BJP believes in democracy. Nobody is asked to keep mum on any issue,” Faldu told mediapersons at a day-long workshop of the party’s Doctor Cell of central Gujarat.

On senior BJP leader Keshubhai Patel’s statements against CM Narendra Modi,he said: “Narendra Modi government is taking all the parties along in the development process… Unlike in the Congress,if somebody in the BJP has a different viewpoint,he has the liberty to express it.”
