Sneakers: The essential casual pair — which once made its mark only for sports and outdoors and often paired with jeans, chinos and shorts — have recently turned into a swag statement for the youth brigade. The flavour of the season are the solid white sneakers, which work best with casual jogger pants, printed shorts and regular tees.

Slip Ons: From holidays to a date, slip-ons are your go-to shoes — after all, it means you’re ready for absolutely anything! They work really well for a vacation, and go great with linen and denim shorts. Throw in a casual blazer and duffel and you are all set for your dapper travelogues. Keep an extra pair of waterproof ones handy for those sudden monsoon rains.

Tan Sandals: Multistrap brown sandals are perfect for pairing up with your casual shorts. You can also pair them with an all-linen outfit.
