Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday claimed that he had detailed information on “personal corruption” by Prime Minister Narendra Modi which he wants to present in Lok Sabha. He alleged that the Treasury benches were not allowing him to speak in the House.
“I have personal information about Narendra Modi Ji, which I want to present it in the house, I will only speak in the Lok Sabha because the people have chosen me as Member of Parliament,” said Rahul Gandhi as he spoke to the media. “Read my lips.. The prime minister is personally terrified with the information that I have,” he added.
The Winter Session of Parliament, that began on November 16 and will end on Friday, has been a near wash-out with frequent disruptions over the government’s demonetisation move. While the Opposition wanted a debate on the issue followed by voting, the government indicated its reluctance to voting. The Lok Sabha was adjourned within minutes amid slogans shouting.
