Amit Shah attacks Akhilesh govt on law and order

Shah said it was evident that a 'jungle raj' was prevailing in the state.

Terming the “worsening law and order” in Uttar Pradesh as the party’s top agenda, BJP national president Amit Shah Saturday said “a gang”, not a government, was running the state. The party formed a four-member fact-finding committee to look into such incidents, including the burning of a woman in Barabanki.


In Kanpur, Shah said it was evident that a “jungle raj” was prevailing in the state. “Journalists and IPS officers are unsafe, then what about the common man?” Shah said.
