We too had a role in Amarnath row: Nirmal Singh

Seven years after the Amarnath land row polarised Jammu and Kashmir on regional lines, Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Dr Nirmal Singh admitted Sunday night that they too had played a role in the agitation and called for efforts to bridge that divide.

Singh was speaking at the release of the promo of a feature film Nasheman, the story of which revolves around a Muslim boy from the Valley and Hindu girl from Jammu.

The two come across each other during the land row and then try to spread the message of communal harmony.
