Later, in a series of comments that followed her post she clarified: “A person accompanying the chairman’s son who came to click pictures misbehaved, pushed and threatened me. He was dressed in a brown safari suit. If you were in my place, you might have hit him back. I am not blaming the chairman or the son. I have blamed that scary man who pushed me etc.”

He was accompanying the chairman’s family who came backstage to click pictures like many others. I finished my concert according to the promised time duration and faced this backstage. For me this was the first time something like this happened. We were threatened by him. It would have not been so bad if someone would have handled this backstage and made peace. We had to leave the city and go towards Siliguri in fear of that one person. I am not saying anything in general about you or the organiser’s or the chairman’s family or my lovely audience in Cooch Behar.”
