A piece of paper with “bomb” written on it led to a scare at Ahmedabad airport Wednesday. The chit was found on a Jet Airways Mumbai-Ahmedabad-Mumbai flight, carrying 125 passengers. The paper was found to be a portion of the boarding pass of Mumbai-based chartered accountant Anant Subramaniam, who had come on the flight.
Police said a ground staffer found the chit while cleaning the plane. A “thorough check” was conducted and the threat turned out to be a hoax.

Subramaniam was later questioned. According to police, he said the piece of paper was torn off from his boarding pass, but denied writing anything on it. Inspector V R Patel said a non-congnizable offence has been lodged in this regard.
