Hardik Patel’s 3D holographic address likely on Nov 20

Patidar quota agitation leader Hardik Patel is likely use 3D hologram technology to address his supporters remotely from Udaipur on November 20 during a maha-sammelan at Bhayavadar town in Upleta taluka of Rajkot district.

“We want to build momentum before Hardik’s return to Gujarat on January 17, so that when he comes back, our agitation goes on a fast-track. We want to do something new, and therefore, we have decided to use 3D hologram technology,” said Lalit Vasoya, Saurashtra zone convener of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti.

Vasoya said they were finalising details with a Delhi-based private firm for providing the technological support.
“The 3D hologram technology was costly when it was used for the first time during the 2012 Assembly elections. Now, it is much cheaper. We want to do something new and our community will bear the cost,” Vasoya added.
