Book Salman Khan, Arvind Kejriwal, Congress leaders, for sedition: Plea

A complaint application has been filed by activist Maruti Bhapkar with the Pimpri police, demanding filing of sedition charges against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Congress leaders P Chidambaram, Digvijay Singh and Sanjay Nirupam, and actors Salman Khan and Om Puri.

Bhapkar said, “Whether it was Kejriwal or Congress leaders, they are raising doubts about the surgical operations at a time when the Army top bosses had announced the successful operation. Just imagine, these people have no confidence in the words of our Army,” said Bhapkar, who is the Pune unit head of the Yogendra Yadav-led party.

He said Pakistan was already shouting from rooftops that India has not carried out the surgical operation, “and in India, our own people were supporting Pakistan’s contention. If this is not against national interest, then what is ?”

Similarly, he said, actors Salman Khan and Om Puri are behaving in a manner which is not at all in national interest. “Pakistan is our enemy country. It is giving support to terrorism and sending them across the border.”
