How many more demonetisation deaths: CM Mamata Banerjee to PM Modi

The TMC chief was alluding to a list of 100 people, who had reportedly died while standing in bank or ATM queues or committed suicide following note ban.

A day after she wrote a letter to RBI Governor Urijit Patel, demanding to know the “nature of allocation of new currency”, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Friday attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the alleged 100 deaths across India following demonetisation.

“How many more every day Modi babu,” Mamata tweeted. The TMC chief was alluding to a list of 100 people, who had reportedly died while standing in bank or ATM queues or committed suicide following note ban. The list had been tweeted by TMC MP Derek O’Brien.
