Six days after a BMW car crashed into an Indigo,killing two people and injuring four,police on Friday said the owner of the BMW had joined investigations.
Police were about to send a second notice to the owner Devendra Sehrawat,a resident of Sector 14 in Gurgaon as he had not responded to their first notice.
Sources said police have formed a special team to nab the culprits. The accused,who was driving the BMW,has not been apprehended yet. We do not know who was driving the car. It is not clear whether it was the owners son or his driver. But the owner has joined investigations now, said DCP (East) Maheshwar Dayal.
Police had earlier said that the owner had also switched off his mobile phone and the entire family was away from home.

The Indigo car was coming from the Leisure Valley area while the BMW was coming from Huda City Centre Metro station side at over 100 km/h. The BMW dashed sideways into the Indigo,which turned over twice.
A pregnant woman was among the two who died on the spot. A person named Dakshesh,who was in the BMW,was seriously injured in the crash. Police have been unable to take his statement till now.
