Police arrests Pragya and they take her to the police station. Just then, Purab enters and tries to stop the drama. He starts questioning Abhi about it. Aalia interferes and tries to fool Purab too. She abuses Pragya in front of Abhi and Purab. She tells Purab that Pragya’s kind of girls are good at fooling young men. Purab gets so angry that he tries to slap Aalia. Abhi stops Purab and confronts him. Purab replies that Pragya is Abhi’s genuine fan and a very honest person. Abhi is upset and confused. He walks away.

Abhi and Pragya both are thinking about the time they spent together. Abhi is not able to believe that Pragya is dishonest.
There, Sarla and Biji are getting worried for Pragya as it is midnight and Pragya has not come home yet. Purab comes and informs them that Pragya is in police custody. Sarla and Biji are disheartened. Tanu tells Aalia that she is still not confident about her marriage. She says Pragya’s Kumkum Bhagya is very strong and she will come back in Abhi’s life again. Aalia asks Tanu to relax. Abhi is still lost in Pragya’s thoughts. Abhi decides to meet Pragya in jail.
In the next scene, Abhi walks towards Pragya and she gets emotional. They hold hands, but suddenly Abhi starts questioning Pragya. He says how can Pragya try to pull such a fraud on him? He asks why she did this to him? Pragya, with tears in her eyes, asks Abhi to look into her eyes and say if she can cheat him. She says that we can’t stay away from each other, we are emotionally attached. She tells Abhi that she loves him. Abhi gets surprised after knowing Pragya’s feelings about him. Pragya says that she can never hurt Abhi. He says he is getting married in a few days and he can’t think of all this. Pragya says that she will continue loving Abhi and she doesn’t expect anything from him.
