Thugs of Hindostan The trailer of Thugs of Hindostan will be released on September 27.

Thugs of Hindostan is one of the biggest films coming out of Bollywood this year. On Tuesday, Yash Raj Films released the first poster of the film featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif and also announced the trailer release date of the film. The trailer of the movie will be unveiled on September 27 which also happens to be the birth anniversary of Yash Chopra.

In the first poster of Thugs, we see Amitabh, Aamir and Fatima ready for war while Katrina adds glamour to it. Echoing the same tone as that of their individual character posters, Amitabh (Khudabaksh) and Fatima (Zafira) bear an intense look and Aamir (Firangi) looks mischievous here as well. But not much can be said about Katrina’s character Suraiyaa from the poster. What’s special about the poster is that it brings the two superstars Amitabh and Aamir in the same frame for the first time ever.

Sharing the poster, Aamir expressed his excitement about it and tweeted, “To see myself on a poster with Mr.Bachchan is a dream come true for me. I still cant believe it.” Making the big announcement, Yash Raj Films tweeted, “This Diwali, be prepared to be Thugged. Presenting the poster of #ThugsOfHindostan #TOHTrailer OUT ON 27TH SEPTEMBER!” However, Katrina had already revealed the date of the trailer release during a Q&A session with her fans on Instagram.

Thugs of Hindostan has been creating a frenzy among the audience since September 17 with the release of its logo followed by impressive character posters of Aamir’s Firangi, Amitabh’s Khudabaksh, Fatima’s Zafira, Katrina’s Suraiyaa and Llyod’s John Clive. Now the trailer of the movie is awaited.

Based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s novel Confessions of a Thug, the film will hit screens on November 8.
