Actress Taasee Pannu was taken back to Raj Kapoor’s 1956 movie ‘Awara’ while shooting for a scene in her upcoming movie ‘Barish aur Chowmien’.

When the scene was narrated to her, in which she had to walk in the rain with her co-actor Amit Sadh, the actress somehow imagined a similar scene from the movie ‘Awara’ and could envision it in her mind. Taapsee had watched the film over and over again and could relate to it.

The shot was captured in a single take and everyone loved it.

Taapsee said: “It’s the first time I have shot a typical Bollywood romantic moment in the rain. So automatically my mind travelled back in time to that particular moment in awara which I believe every actor has seen and been in awe of. It might be very cliche but still has the power to create that magic it did years back.”

‘Barish aur Chowmien’ is being helmed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.
