It may have been a mundane Monday (July 25) morning but not for Salman Khan’s fans. The superstar’s legion of admirers lined up outside his residence in Mumbai, Galaxy as soon as word spread that Salman has been acquitted by the Rajasthan High Court in the 1998 poaching case. Fans of all age groups and genders lined up on the road outside Galaxy hoping to get a glimpse of the actor.
Fans we spoke to sounded delirious at Salman being a free man yet again. Said a fan, ” I have always prayed for his well-being and it’s great news that the verdict came in his favour.” While there was no decrease in the number of fans gathering outside Galaxy, the celebrations were nothing near to what one saw when Salman was released by the Bombay High Court after overturning the Session Court’s verdict in the hit-and-run case. Missing this time were the songs and drumbeats. Nevertheless, the show of support only continued to increase prompting police to swing into action and control the swelling crowd.
Meanwhile Bhai stayed put inside the confines of his home surrounded by family and friends. Sources suggested that everyone one including the actor heaved a sigh of relief at the judgment coming in his favour. However, there will be no big celebration happening. Sisters Alvira and Arpita dropped in post the verdict. Also spotted visiting Salman were politician Baba Siddiqui and actor Nikhil Dwivedi.

Media continued maintaining its vigil outside his apartment and what could be termed as pleasant surprise refreshments in the form of tea and other items arrived from Salman’s place. Evidently, Bhai is quite happy.
The actor is expected to leave town soon for the shoot of Kabir Khan’s next called Tubelight.
