Actress Richa Chadda, who delivered a beautiful performance in her last outing, ‘Masaan’, has been at the receiving end of much praise and acclaim.
However, there was one special person who absolutely loved her in the film, her biggest critic – her mother and presented her with a beautiful token.

Richa’s mother, who made a surprise visit to Mumbai, gifted her daughter an antique pair of gold earrings, that Richa apparently had her eye on for a while. On seeing the gift, Richa was speechless and hugged her mother in gratitude. The earnings as Richa describes are her great grandmother’s from the paternal side which have been passed on from generations.

“I always had my eyes on them but had no real hopes of getting them since my mother is very possessive with them. My parents may not express their feelings but gifts like these make me realize how proud they are of what I’m doing which in turn makes me work hard and better so I can do them proud at every stage,” said Richa.
