Karisma Kapoor has been missing from the silver screen after she did a lead role in Vikram Bhatt’s Dangerous Ishq in 2012 and since then her fans have been waiting for their favourite actor to make a comeback. But, now the wait is finally over for them as Karisma has hinted at joining the star cast of Judwaa 2, a sequel to 1997 blockbuster Judwaa starring Salman Khan and Karisma in the lead roles.
In an interview with DNA, Karisma revealed, “David (Dhawan) did mention it to me. So let’s see. I would love to do it.” She also said that she is excited about the sequel of a movie which was a hit 19 years ago. “I have heard that they are remaking Judwaa and it’s exciting. I love Varun as an actor and I am sure he will do a great job,” she added.

Earlier, David Dhawan has been successful in roping in Salman Khan for a cameo in the sequel to satiate the loyal fans of the movie and now if everything goes well, Karishma and Salman together will once again create magic with their spot-on comic timing and sizzling chemistry. So, the fans of the duo have more reasons to eagerly wait for the movie now.
Thanks to Varun Dhawan’s natural ease in front of the camera, director of the movie David Dhawan believes that he can slip into the roles of ‘Prem’ and ‘Raja’, earlier played by Salman Khan. Varun will be seen romancing Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu in the movie. The shoot for Judwaa 2 will begin next year and it will be filmed on the beaches of the Mediterranean.
