

Actress Kangana Ranaut has paid a tribute to the Indian armed forces in a video. The anthem titled Love your country released on Friday (August 12) online. It also focuses on social issues such as rape, female infanticide, child marriage, dowry and even apathy, read a statement.
The almost three-minute long video has Kangana saluting, lip-synching to the song, sung by Siddhart Sharma, Piyush Wasnik and Yash Chauhan. “Do you vote?” asks Kangana, clad in a white outfit, in the anthem.
This song comes after Kangana created waves with a video on ‘cleanliness is next to godliness’ addressing Prime Minster Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Kangana Ranaut is the face of Swachh Bharat campaign and even headlines a video for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s campaign, dressed as Goddess Laxmi. At the launch of Swachh Bharat video, Kangana revealed that growing up she was a slob who hated taking a shower, but reading up about energies changed her lifestyle and that encouraged her to promote cleanliness.
“Growing up I was a slob, very lazy and I hated having a shower. I was a really dirty person. My parents were fed up, nothing good ever happened. I never made friends, no opportunities came my way. Then I read a lot about elements, compositions, and energies and I learnt energies are of three types, Sattva, Tamas and Rajas,” she told media.

Holding forth on the energies, Kangana added, “The most superior type is Sattva and that is all about cleanliness, truth and anything beautiful, artistic, so it starts with a beautiful environment. And that is what Laxmi is about. Laxmi is an energy which you can attract only if you have Sattvik energy. And ever since I used these things in my life my life changed. So now I love to have shower, love to keep my environment clean and I make sure I never litter.”
