If social media update is a direct reflection of a person’s mood, then Nargis Fakhri’s recent posts on Instagram surely allude to her state of mind, which we can only guess. Speculations of her break-up with Uday Chopra and quitting Bollywood were rife a while ago. Nargis put a stop to those gossips by tweeting about her coming back to India for promotions of her upcoming movie Banjo.
However, her latest posts on Instagram tell an altogether different story. She posted an image of a sleeping dog with a running text, ” how u sleep when u single and no one cheating you.” Now, why Nargis needed to post an image like that ? Is she trying to say that she is single again? And she can sleep well now that she is single and because no one is cheating one her. You can only guess.
Her other posts including a feel-good quote from writer R M Drake also point to her new status and her efforts to come out of that phase. Another post ( again a quote by R M Drake) is a comment on good times spent with a loved one when one inadvertently walks down the memory lane and recalls small things in a relationship. Earlier, Nargis also tweeted, “I need a dog, not a man.”
Heartbreak can make a person vulnerable. It’s an uphill task to come out of that fuzzy phase if you are a public figure. So what our stars do if they undergo a tumultuous break-up. They will go on vacations, hit the gym, post new pictures and so on. It’s all about telling the world- I love myself.
Take, for example, Katrina Kaif. After her break-up with Ranbir Kapoor, she has joined Facebook, posts pictures regularly. What’s more, she said you go to gym and do crunches to deal with heartbreak. Her abs in Kala Chasma number from Baar Baar Dekho are a proof.
