The actress played a wild and intense character in the film who falls in love with Gautam (Saif Ali Khan). A love triangle is formed as Gautam is in love with Veronica’s friend Meera (Diana Penty).
Though, Deepika’s character becomes impulsive and mean, later in the film, but it left viewers in tears.
Naina Talwar in ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’
Who wouldn’t want to be in place of Ranbir Kapoor on seeing Deepika play the role of Naina who is a nerd, always with her books, soft-spoken, mature and a secret admirer. The movie was a reunion of the once real life couple Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. The movie was heaped with praises and words of appreciation by the critics.
