Befikre starring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor has collected Rs 55.54 crore. The film is into its second week and did considerably well on the second weekend. Besides Wajah Tum Ho, there was no major Hindi movie release this weekend. The film collected Rs 2.27 crore and 2.84 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The overall second-weekend collection of Befikre is Rs 6.79 crore. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Befikre [Week 2] Fri 1.68 cr, Sat 2.27 cr, Sun 2.84 cr. Weekend 2: ₹ 6.79 cr. Total: ₹ 55.54 cr. India biz.”
The film’s overseas collection is also outstanding. Ranveer Singh film collected Rs 16.36 crore in the first week in the overseas market. Taran shared, “#Befikre – OVERSEAS – Week 1: $ 2.412 million [₹ 16.36 cr]… Best in UAE-GCC [$ 972k], USA-Canada [$ 652k]… Few cinemas yet to report.” The film was made on a budget of Rs 70 crore including Rs 15 crore spent on promotion and advertising. Befikre was released on over 2100 screens.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh is busy with her upcoming project Padmavati. The actor finds his role in Padmavati quite difficult. “It’s very difficult. It’s physical, emotionally, mentally very draining. It’s my biggest challenge yet as an actor. I prepared very hard for it, almost a month. We have started shooting and Bhansali is pretty happy with the way things have shaped up,” Ranveer told PTI in an interview.
