Befikre starring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor has collected Rs 46.24 crores. The film collected Rs 3.02 crores on Wednesday. There is no doubt that Befikre is fearlessly walking towards earning well at the box office. Though critics have not been in favour of the film, the audience, especially the younger lot is loving the concept and the glamour quotient in the film.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced that the film is sailing smooth even during the weekdays. On the weekend, the Aditya Chopra helmed film earned Rs. 10.36 crore, Rs. 11.60 crore and Rs. 12.47 crore on Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively. While on the weekdays, even though the business wasn’t as great as the weekend, the film managed to earn Rs 5.20 crore, Rs 3.59 crore and Rs 3.02 crore on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.

The YRF project is not only entertaining Indian audience but also doing great in the overseas market. Directed by Aditya Chopra, Befikre has collected Rs 12.48 crores in the opening weekend in the overseas market too. The film is likely to earn Rs 50 crore in the first week itself, according to trade estimates.
Made at a budget of about Rs 70 crore, Befikre was released on 2100 screens. While the film is doing pretty well, it cannot be termed as Ranveer Singh’s best performance, whose last outing Bajirao Mastani won accolades from critics as well as audiences.
Though other films like Force 2, Rock On 2 and Vidya Balan’s Kahaani 2 saw a dip even during the weekends because of demonetisation, Befikre seems to be at bay from all such issues.
With Befikre enjoying an extended window at the box office, the film is likely to increase its collections in the second week of its release too. The film revolves around Dharam and Shyra who believe in love with no strings attached. Aditya has said that Befikre is a complete departure from his first film as a director, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.
