Akshay Kumar shared a heart-stopping video of a police constable saving the life of a woman who had slipped and fell under a train. He also praised the constable's swift thinking.

Akshay Kumar, who has played a soldier and police officer often on screen, has lauded a Mumbai police constable for saving a woman’s life with his swift reaction.

Akshay posted a 21-second clip on his Twitter account. The clip shows a woman running to catch a train and she suddenly slips in this pursuit, but the constable comes to her rescue immediately. The actor captioned the video: “Had my heart in my mouth literally! Salute to constable Pawan Tayde of Lonavala police station for his presence of mind and swift action.” The 49-year-old has been verbal about appreciating good deeds of public servants.

This is not the first time when Akshay has praised government officials. While promoting Rustom in Hyderabad, Akshay took a day off to visit Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy. He interacted with IPS recruits and also played a volleyball match. Akshay, from time to time, also keeps praising soldiers and officers for their contribution to the country.
