Aamir Khan who faced severe backlash for his statements made at RNG awards last year, about the growing sense of intolerance in India and on wife Kiran Rao’s fears, stressed on the need to remain non-reactive to all negative criticism mounted against him.
Speaking to the press on his 51st birthday, Aamir Khan said, “People who questioned me are those who are biased against me. So no matter what I do, they will question. I don’t react to that. No matter who you are and what you have done in life, people question you. People doubt you. The important thing is you shouldn’t be negative.”
Stressing on the need to stay positive, Aamir Khan said, “You should be positive and be aware of what you are doing. Your conscience should be clear. You should focus on your positivity and people’s positivity towards you. Negativity bahut hai. But majority are positive. Negative people shout out loud and hence we hear it more.
