

The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the final result of the SBI Probationary Officer (PO) exam 2016 on its official website on Friday, September 30, 2016. The exam was held on July 31 this year via the online mode. All the successful candidates are informed about their results by SMS.
The results of the SBI PO Mains exam 2016 have already been declared on SBI’s website, after which the interview/counseling round was scheduled to take place.

Steps to check the SBI PO Final result 2016:
Log on to the official website of the SBI, sbi.co.in
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Careers” section. You can access the section from the top of the page as well.
A new page will open. On the top right hand side of the page, from the “Latest Announcements” section, go to the PO section and click on “Final Results”.
You can also access your result through the “Recruitment Results & Archive” section at the bottom of the “Careers” page

The SBI began the recruitment process for the PO post in May this year. Candidates had time to apply for the post by May 24. The selection process goes through three rounds: The Prelims, the Mains and the interview round. Candidates advance to the next round only if they clear the preceding round. There may or may not be a group discussion (GD) round after the Mains exam.

The shortlist of the selected candidates after the interview process will be put up on the SBI website on September 30, 2016, as per the vacancy advertisement for SBI PO recruitment (advertisement no.: CRPD/PO/2016-17/02).
Candidates are advised to check the website on a regular basis for the SBI PO final results 2016.
