NIOS results 2016: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the Class 10 examination 2016 results. The exam was conducted in October 2016 and the students can check the result on the official website – nios.ac.in.

The Institute has earlier notified the result declaration date to be December 13 which they postponed. NIOS has already released Class 12 results on December 8.

The results will also be available on indiaresults.com. In case, students wish to get their results through SMS
For Class 10 – Type – NIOS10 <rollno> and send it to the provided number. The number is 5676750.
By dialing NIOS Learner Support Centre (Toll Free) – 18001809393 or by sending the mail at lsc@nios.ac.in

Steps to check the NIOS Class 10 exam result 2016
Log on to the official website of the NIOS
In the ‘Results’ section, go to the ‘Public Examination (Sec., Sr. Sec., Voc.)’ tab
Enter your details as specified in your hall ticket such as roll number and date of birth
Your result will be displayed when you click on ‘Submit’.
You can save a copy of the results or take a print.

The NIOS, which was earlier known as the National Open School (NOS), offers academic as well as vocational courses in various streams at the Secondary and the Senior Secondary level.
