

Maharashtra SSC result 2016: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) on June 6 announced the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam conducted in March 2016. The results went live on the boards official websites mahresult.nic.in and mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in at 1 pm as announced the day before.
The results this year have been declared two days earlier as last year the same were declared on June 8, 2015. This year, a pass percentage of 89.56, which is at 1.90 per cent less than last year that was registered in the SSC result.

This year, girls have registered an overall pass percentage of 91.41 while boys registered a pass percentage of 87.98. This year, a total of 16,07, 411 lakh students (including repeaters) from across the state, had registered for the SSC exams.

Division-wise, Konkan topped the list with 96.56 per cent with Latur division at the bottom with 81.54 per cent, said Gangadhar Mhamane, chairman of MSBSHSE while announcing the results.

The pass percentage of nine divisions are — Konkan 96.56 , Nasik 89.61 , Mumbai 91.9, Pune 93.30 , Kolhapur 93.89, Nagpur 85.34 , Amaravati 84.99, Aurangabad 88.04 and Latur 81.45.

For Airtel Users, send SMS (MAH10 <space> <roll number>) and send to short code no 5207011.
For Idea, Vodafone, Reliance, Tata Docomo, BSNL and Telenor users, send SMS (MAH10 <space> <roll number>) and send to short code no 588111.
For Airtel, Idea, Vodafone and Aircel users, can also dial USSD code *588# to get result by SMS.
