50 per cent students fail in Haryana Open School 2015 exam

The pass percentage of class 10th is 40.59 per cent, while of class 12th is 56.75 per cent

More than 50 per cent of the students in Haryana Open School class 10th exam (October 2015) have failed. According to the Board’s spokesperson, the pass percentage of class 10th is 40.59 per cent, while of class 12th is 56.75 per cent.

A total of 32,439 students appeared for the class 10th exam (CTP/STC) in which only 13,166 managed to clear it. Out of 20,998 boys, 8,724 passed, while 11,441 girls gave exams and 4,442 passed it. The boys outperformed girls with 41.55 per cent cleared the HOS exam and girls passing percentage is 38.83 percentage.

In class 12 exams (CTP/STC), 26,653 students appeared in which 15,125 passed. Out of 7,282 girls, only 4,360 passed (59.87 per cent) the October exam. While 19,371 boys gave exams and only 10,765 cleared it (55.57 per cent).
